Noa and the Library of Small Wonders
Chapter 1: The Door Behind the Portrait
Noa visited the Hidden Castle to return a book about ordinary clouds. While dusting a portrait, Noa noticed a brass doorknob where the painted knight's pocket should be. Behind it was a narrow library filled with books no bigger than acorns. A mouse librarian named Quill hurried over and explained that each book held one small wonder: why a seed cracks, where a lost button travels, or how a raindrop chooses a leaf. The library had lost its catalogue.
Chapter 2: A Catalogue of Questions
Quill showed Noa a blank book. It could not be filled with answers, only with good questions. Noa walked between the shelves and wrote: Where does a shadow hide at noon? Why does bread smell warm? Can a pebble remember a river? Each question made one tiny book glow and slide into a new place. Noa wanted to write faster, but Quill reminded them that a curious question deserved time to be noticed.
Chapter 3: The Wonder That Was Missing
At the end of the shelves, one dark space remained. Noa listened to the castle and heard a soft scratch inside the wall. A little paper star had fallen behind a stone; it carried the wonder of why people keep trying after a mistake. Noa placed it in the catalogue, and the whole library warmed with light. Quill gave Noa a blank page to take home. It was not an answer book. It was an invitation to keep wondering.
